Bernat Baby Blanket
Shibui Baby Blanket
Melissa finished a Corner to Corner Baby Blanket, pattern by Bernat.  After finishing the blanket, there should be enough left over to make some other baby items.
She also completed a Wee Speedy by Taiga Hillard Designs made in bulky wool.
And YET another baby blanket made of sock weight Shibui Baby on her machine

 Latte
Starshower Cowl
Abby is working on the Starshower Cowl. It is knit both back and forth and in the round.
She is still working on her sweater.
Abby is starting another pair of stripped socks in LollypopYarn called Pinky Promise.
Melissa is working on another Wee Speedy in the Bernat, and probably has enough to also baby hat out of the same Bernat yarn.

Bitter Cup
Melissa ripped out the baby poncho.
Abby had a coughing reaction while knitting the possum sock yarn.

 Stir
Abby hung out with Susan the owner of Abstract Fiber and spun with her mini-spinner.
Abby was spinning merino, super wash merino, and silk. She also spun some fiber from Crown Mountain Farms, long draw. And she produced three skeins.

Brewing
Dust in the Wind
Melissa wants to starts just plain socks. She wants a carry around project.  She will probably be making a requested baby blanket.
Abby has two spinning projects. One is a three ply sock yarn from Crown Mountain Fibers
The color is called Dust in the Wind, but the color is no longer available.
Abby would also like to spin enough for a sweater.  Possibly a Marino cashmere mix.  She will dye the yarn, not the roving. In the past when she dyed the roving it felted.

Taste
Abby reviewd The Modern Natural Dyer A Comprehensive Guide to Dyeing Silk, Wool, Linen and Cotton at Home by Kristine Vejar. Kristine is one of the owners of the shop A Verb for Keeping Warm.
The Modern Natural Dyer is  published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang which is a part of Abrams Publishing and retails for $29.95
